I've been working on a single turbo setup for a while now. I used the
factory manifold on the pass side and did some cutting and welding to put a
mounting flange above the manifold. On the driver side I left the manifold
alone. I plan on linking the two by way of the stock exhaust locations with
a 2 1/2" pipe. here's where the questions come in. will the stock type
exhaust flanges hold or will they come apart under the excessive back
pressure? Does anyone think that the difference in distance to the turbo
will cause a problem with the backpressure being unbalanced from either side
of the motor?
