Our car club here in San Diego (Mopar Club San Diego)
had the 'Dyno Days' at the Dyno Shop today.
Many Cuda's, Road Runners, Challengers, etc. etc.. and
was a great morning.
I ran my wife's 4x4 Sport 3.55 w/31" tires:
186.1 hp and 228 ft. lbs. of torque... This compares
to a '96 Dakota that also ran:
190 ho and 225 ft. lbs. of torque w/215/75-15's...
My '99 RT ran at this same shop, and with all of my
mods ran only a 209 hp @ 270 ft. lbs. of torque w/12K
miles on it.
Today, my '00 RT w/ 2100 miles, 100% OEM stock:
204 hp @ 268 ft. lbs. of torque.
WOOHOO!! I think I have a winner. I did race my
'99 vs. my '00, and they were dead even. These
goes further, only proving the same thing.
Maybe the '00s are faster??? LOL...
Sam '00 RT
