Hey Joe - you've got a point, but I think the consensus is to measure
the different HP outputs on a chassis dyno, not at the track. In that
case, the 5 speed would be more consistent (less prone to performance
changes through the temperature range, no slippage, etc). I also think
you're right about the intake system - I'm sure the modified TB's would
not sing if they had to suck air through that horrible air box.
