Thanks Duff. Appreciate the reply. I ordered the Mopar set yesterday, but
I did try looking at the url you supplied. It errored out. I'll try again
later just to take a look at it though.

Rich,

Check out http://www.jp.com.au/Performance.html
This is the timing set used by Hughes or Kamer/Kamer (can't remember) on
their engine build ups. Last I checked, I think the one for the 318's is
about $80 (+ S&H).
These things are suppose to be works of art. Just some food for thought...
(like you need any help spending $$!)

Hey Boog & Bob,
Thanks for your replies. Guess I'll be giving Koller Dodge another call and
flexing that plastic power once again. "More parts, more power, more gas!"
Man, it just doesn't get any better than this.

When I had the cam and valvetrain components changed, I supplied the fellow
doing the installation with the parts. He asked me a few times if I was
replacing the timing chain but did not push it one way or another. I found
out later that it's a good idea to do it while everything is off (also
the chain does stretch and wear over time)...kind of wish I had done it
at the time and used a hi-po (double?) one. That's all I know about it.
BTW, at the time, I had about 1/2 the mileage that you have.
Bob
