RE: Nasty way of stealing our trucks? (and, my continuing foglight saga)

When I had first ordered my '97 V6/5spd with the LSD 3.55:1, they pulled my
truck off the line and took it to the EPA testing grounds to make sure that
the configuration was "within limits". Apparently, it was the first one in
that configuration...along with all the other "options" that were ordered
along with it.

I had received the truck with 30 miles on it (and a nice price break because
of it). It delayed the final shipment 4 weeks.

<snip>
Totally unrelated: anyone had a truck they ordered get cancelled b/c it
failed final inspection? My father's Durango got sent to the scrapheap
after it failed, they have to build a new one for him, gonna take FOUR
weeks, compared to 1 for the first build.
