You can spray some graphite on the shackle bolts (and shackles themselves)
to keep them from squeaking. That's what my father did on the Javelin years
ago when we changed out the old springs...and they don't squeak to this day.

my 97 dakota is going the same thing. Eveytime you hit a bump or
accelerate.
you can hear the bed squeek. I think it's where the leaf springs attachs to
the hanger. There's a bolt in there the helps the leaf spring pivot and i
guess it's low no oil, but there isn't a zerk fitting there.
