Well, I've had the Lakewood traction bars & Mr. Gasket spring clamps on for
about 2 weeks now, and the clamps keep loosening!! I have them about 2" in
from the front edge of all 4 springs in front of the axle, have tightened 'em
with a breaker bar, and still they walk forward 'til they come off the 4th
spring, then they're just flopping around. The bolts have loctite on 'em, but
should I double-nut them or use lockwashers? On the plus side, the truck now
only spins 'em for about 10 feet before they hook up & ZOOM! Don.t know which
is responsible, bars or clamps, cause I put 'em both on together. Any
thoughts?
P.S. Winter mileage is down to 10mpg now.
