All I can say is black can be one of the best looking, hardest to keep clean
vehicles on the road. But you've got to be willing to work to keep it that
way. I've always kept mine waxed to the max. I use Meguires. When I first got
it I washed it and put a good hand wax job on it. Each time I wash it I use
only Meguires Soft Wash Gel, cool not cold water and a 100% cotton cloth. I
do use a chamois to dry it but I have 3 of them and keep 2 clean ones on
hand. (Put the dirty one in the washer with warm water NO SOAP and run it
thru a cycle and let it dry.) After it's dry I wax a section each time. I
rotate areas each time, right front fender, next time hood, next time left
front, next time one door, next time other door, etc. When I get all the way
around I start over. In between if needed I use Quick Detailer. It's a lot of
work but it pays off. As for swirls if they show up just use some Swirl
Remover and they are gone in no time. Always, Always nothing but 100% soft
cotton!! Good luck!
