Um, yes, you CAN get the 5-spd in the Quad Cab with either the 4.7 or the
3.9; the big 5.9 is the one only with the automatic.

Since were talking trannys, hows the new Quad Cab Dakota
automatic doing? Didn't I just read in Sport truck it had
new dual ratio(?) gearing or something? I'd love to have the
Quad Cab but only if the auto tranny is a big cut above the
older gear hunters. I guess the QC is not available with the
5 speed even with the 4.7L :o(
AND...I will endorse my NV3500 and be D@#M proud!! ;)
