I spoke to Dave at Hughes engines after the Dec 18 runs. He says with
good tires and a hard launch (4000-4500), the truck should run 13.7s as
is. Time to install the line lock and sticky meats. He said I must
preload the drivetrain (hence the line lock) to prevent parts breakage.
Hopefully I can make at least a few full power runs to discover the true
potential of the engine. Regards.
