Wayne, as my Dak has 116,600 miles on it, I have tried many spark plugs,
wires, and have done all the maintenance myself. I would highly suggest
Autolite Copper plugs, I have tried about 5-6 different plugs on my Dak, and
these are the best, they are also cheap. The +4 Plugs made my Dak run like
crap. As far as wires go, get some quality ones. I suggest MSD 8.5MM Super
Conductors, I use the kit meant for 94-97 318 Dodge Ram's, and I love them.
Worth the extra money compared to normal wires found at auto stores. Air
filter is really upto you, but an aftermarket one like K&N, Accel, or Amsoil
will help out with more power and gas mileage. PCV valves are cheap, $2,
just replace it. I have used Castrol 10W30 and Fram oil filters since I
bought the truck. I recently had an oil test done and you can check out the
results here to prove that regular 3,000 miles oil/filter changes do pay off
