4WD Concern...

Recently I was towing three snwomobiles on a two place trailer (all
sideways) and came across lake effect snow in Indiana and Michigan. I had
to shift the 4WD shifter on the floor to 4WD high and drive at that for
about 30 miles. I wasn't above 45 as the conditions were not good at all.
 Lots of ice and snow.

My question is, did I just kill my gears or something? I saw nothing in
the
my manual (from the last time I read it) that warned against driving in 4wd
for an extended period of time; except for going over 50-55.

I've already done it and did not experience any grinding or any problems at
all... I still don't running in 2WD locally.

Please help me squelch my concerns, as I am preparing for another tripnext
weekend and just want to make sure that it's OK if I have to do it again.

 Thanks!
