So I'm coming to work minding my own business, listening to my radio and
thanking God I replaced that heater core when I did..and this Chebby SS10
with cheesy factory vinyl stripes wails past me. We're on a two lane offramp
with sand everywhere so I'm not going to repeat his foolish manuever.
Instead
I figure I'll wait until I get on the main highway to teach him a lesson. He
gets in front of me (no signal of course) and proceeds to play with me,
slowing down and speeding up (the standard "just out of high school and my
parents bought me a truck" behavior) so patiently I wait for the road to
straighten. When I get this punk on the highway, he moves over and promptly
guns it, of course not waiting for me to pull even with him first. That's OK
though, because all I did was downshift and nail it, and that's the last we
saw of our Chebby in this story :-). Sure, I saw him in my rear mirror
growing smaller, and sure I imagine he was screaming in his head wondering
how he just got his "Super Sport S10 with the ZQ8 suspension" wailed on, but
that's ok, because I pulled off the offramp before I could even see him in
my
sideview. I love spanking people who deserve it!! I know he's at work right
now talking about how I juiced him or got some kind of V8 swap, dummy not
realizing that Daks (Read: REAL TRUCKS) have V8's, or in this case, a Huffed
V6 :-).
Did the same thing to an S10 last week too, but that was so sorry it's
not even worth mentioning :-)
