Hi Joe,

The 6x9 mirrors are all electric. I converted my 99 Dak to the power 5x7 in
November. Kinda wish I did the 6x9 swap, might still do that in the future.
The installation procedure is the same regardless of mirror size. A
dealership service dept. told me the swap wasn't possible, but I did it
anyway, thanks to the help of the a different dealer's parts department and
some research. I've found that some Daks are prewired for the mirrors,
you'll have to remove the door panels and take a look for yourself (there
will be unused connectors by where the mirror mounts to the door). My Dak
was not prewired (I don't have power windows/locks), so I had to buy the
wire harnesses myself. If you need part numbers for the switch, wiring
harnesses, and the little 'nut' (hard one to find!) that holds the switch to
the door panel - let me know. I'll find my reciept for all of it and post
if you would like.
