Tim, change the gears to the 4.10 size and then see the car length go to 8.
Another spanky Chebby story. GO GO TIM.

Had my first what I would call a race today in my Dak. I was cruisin
along at about 45 mph (coming home after picking up my K&N at Autozone! )
and
this lifted 1/2 ton 4X4 Chebby ('bout 83 vintage) was blastin up on me big
time. So when he gets next to me I decide what the hey and downshift to 3rd
and punch it. He lays his wide open and I hear 4 bbl roar like it's wantin
to
swallow the hood. I look at him and he grins and says F you... but by then
I'm
pullin away. 'bout the time he's about a carlength behind me I slap on into
4th and next thing I know he's about 6 car-lengths behind and not lookin too
happy.
My only other 'races' were where people would come up behind me
stopped
at a light, then pull out on my right side so they can try and speed in
front
of me through the intersection knowing that their lane ends. Man that just
urks the hell outa me. I havn't lost a single one of those little sprints!
They include Honda Accords, Chevy Blazer II, Ford Rangers and even a Ram
1500.
My Dak isn't any race machine, but she sure does fine by me!!

intake)
If this thing runs like it does I wonder how much fun an RT is or a
regular
cab 4X2 with 3.92 gears and the 4.7 !!!
