yeah, That's the only thing I feel robbed about on my truck order. A bunch
of ABS plastic things that take a good 3 inches off the clearance was NOT
what I had in mind as a skid plate. I figure I'll leave them on until I can
find some good replacements.. or I smash them.. hehe. I had a chance to try
them out last night (ever pull into taco bell and then decide you'd rather
have Wendy's instead, which is just a short trip over the curb and through
the rock garden? ;-)

Fun isnt it. I took mine off. I was at a dealer for a problem with my
brakes, and they got it on the lift and one guy said "I see you have already
changed your oil, Your skid plate is gone." He said that is the first thing
they do when changing oil, take the damn thing off.
Its bad enough that oil gets all over the front end when changing the
filter.
