Rich,
What method did you use to mill those fuel rail mounts? I assume you
did it
while the intake was still installed. Did you mill 3/16" off each one (all
four)?? Mine didn't seat fully either but I haven't noticed any problems.

Thanks,

Shane

Shane,
The intake was off the truck. I didn't have it bolted down yet. I've been
doing other little things here and there before I fire it back up. (Ex:The
friction tape holding the wiring harnesses together is beginning to fatigue,
so I'm rewrapping the entire wiring harness while I can still get at it.) I
left it off so I could lube up the cam one last time before bolting down the
intake.
Since I don't have a mill in my basement (yet), and didn't want to take the
time to take the intake to someone to machine down the mounts, here's what I
did. I measured down 3/16" with a dial caliper and marked it off as I went
with electrical tape. Then I hack sawed off 98% of the material that needed
removing, and very carefully finished off with a set of hand files. They
aren't 100% flush, but they are so close to it, the difference isn't worth
mentioning. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
Rich
