Ok, I just got off the phone with Chrysler, they say you must use the Hypoid
friction modifier no matter what lube you use (Synthetic, or Non). So there
ya have it, straight from Mother Mopar!

I was under the impression that you still needed to add the friction
modifier. How did you arrive at the conclusion that you don't?

Personally I run Mobil 1 synth in the diffs (see also VA meet and me under
the truck =) ) no need for the friction modifier when you run Mobil. The
prep girls store up here doesn't carry it, but unAdvanced, AutoZone, and
Western all carry it.
