The Monroe SensaTracs are running about $39 each. They have been Monroe's
top-of-the-line shocks for a while; however, the new Monroe Reflex is coming
out this month (may already be out), which may drive the price of the
SensaTracs down. Not sure about Monroe's cheaper shocks, but they are
better than Gabriels. If you want more performance, get the Bilsteins - if
you're going off-road, check out the ProComps.

Btw, I've found that a distributor-adjusting tool works great for loosening
& tightening the little nut on top of the front shocks....
