Re: Personal web servers???

In my recent quest for web space, I came across the following sites.
I'm not sure how compatible they are with Netscape, but from recent
web site problems of my own, I dare say that it's the software the page
is written with and not the site. I use FrontPage 2k and it's been an
experience to say the least. I just recently rebuilt most of my pages using
FP2K and Netscape 4.7 reads them properly.
    Anyway, here's the sites:

http://www.50megs.com/
http://www.fortunecity.com/join/index.html
http://www.freespeech.org/membership.html
http://netcolony.com/
http://www.virtualave.net/

I'm not sure which sites have banners though.

netscape users can't get to my site. Also sick of the pop up windows and
banners. I understand that netscape users need ".html" at the end but then
i get those anoying pop up windows. I really don't want to pay for a
server. Are there any good ones out there with out all that crap. It not a
big issue if it has web page builders, i understand HTML and enjoy it. I
just don't want to pay for this. :)
