Does anyone know if the stock tranny will hold up to the abuse a twin turbo
will cause?
I assume that it would if you can add a supercharger
I blew up my 95's NV3500 going from first to second, truck stayed in first.
Limped to the dealer in third (enough to spank most stangs) Dealer bought me
a new tranny (that's a real good story there) and found out a piece that is
the size of a Matchbox busted in it.
I wanted to re-machine it but the warranty bought the new and they needed
the old.
I ran 14.2 at 99 with 3350lbs and 165lbs of me, that should give you the
idea of the horsepower at the ground. BEE CAREFULL.
