True, Autoadvantage.com is a good site to buy if you want a "fair" price. I
did it also and supposidly got 150 over invoice. Anyways. You gotta remember
that those numbers are partially BS. do you actually believe that a vehicle
dealershi only making about 1-2k per vehicle they sell?

Maybe they do, but with promotions and stuff, they probably get a lot of kick
backs at the end of the year and stuff..

Here's my version of buying a vehicle:
1) come LATE at night
2) if you don't like the prices, LEAVE. set your prices low
3) don't go model to model, choose the one you really like and haggle it!
4) if you're there at night (20 minutes before closing time, mid month time)
they'll usually ask "well, if we made a good deal tonight, will you buy the
vehicle?" Respond with a "yes" and don't lose your ground on pricing.

My uncle has taught me to do this and 1) in 1995, he bought my aunt's 95
Camry XLE with every option stickered at 32k+ for 25k and 2) bought his 98 4
runner (limited 4x4.. etc...)for 32k all taxes paid for.

<< Joe,
Check out Autovantage.com. That is how I got my '98 for only $100.00 over
invoice. Very easy and painless and I walked in and out with my truck in
under a half hour without haggling a bit. Just signed papers and off I
went. I am not sure though if you can get the same deal if you order your
 truck though. >>
