Here's a little tid-bit of info:
If you can find one, grab a "Hemi TorqueFlite" (they're VERY rare) but it
will bolt right up. It came with an extra wide kickdown band and a 5th
clutch (unlike the regular torqueflite).
A regular 727 (from let's say a 440) will work just fine with a heavy duty
clutch pack and make sure that all the clearances are correct (accurate to
boot). Art Carr may make a special drum and clutch pack but that might get
a little bit expensive. A 904 will NOT fit no matter what others say.
