Yeah, they are coated. I think what might have really done it was breaking
in the cam. Sitting in the garage without any air for 30min. at 2000rpm.
Man, was that engine hot. Thank goodness I had the sense to wire in a
manual switch or I would have overheated bigtime!!!

Wow! Are your headers coated? My coted ones don't seem to harm my
MFY looms. They still look the way they did 1.5 years ago when I put
them on.
