rear brake problem

I previously posted a message to the list about this,
but no responses. I will try again, I am in a real
tough situation here.

My new Pythons are hitting the weights of the drum
brakes. The weights that they use to balance the drum
from the manufacturer.

Can you can from 9" drums to a 10" drum setup that
also comes on the Dakota with out any problem. Maybe
new drums, pads, rear shield and wheel cylinder?

Or can somebody like Moser Engineering in Portland, IN
maybe modify the drum so the weights are in a
different place?

Or use wheel spacers, but who makes them for our bolt
circle?

Lastly, someone about a week or so ago posted
something about a rear disc conversion....possible
solution there. I think that it was in Mopar Muscle.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance.
