With a Jet Stage-II, no your don't. It plugs inline. (Although, the
instructions state that if you experience a check engine light, to reset the
computer.)

Aaahhh... excuse me...You have to disconnect the NEG terminal on the battery
before installing the chip.. The computer should already be reset... But yes
the computer has the "learn" again..Give it time..
