That's standard policy off road driving, but when you're on Jon's Trail...
once on, there is no turning back :) Not unless you ask everyone else to
back up :) Same with the off road club trail rides. A little hard to turn
around with trees all around you and 30 or so trucks behind you. These
trail are always scouted out in advance by the trail leader though. The
other main off road club rule is "never drive alone". I know many do, but
it's not recommended by Tread Lightly, United 4x4, or any other off road
organizations.

Hey... I remember you saying that your 4x2 was just as capable as any 4x4.
A little hard to believe if you don't come up here and show us ;-) Sorry,
but I couldn't resist that one. All in good fun Bernd :-)

Ed was out on the trails getting down and dirty with his new Quad Cab. I
can't remember exactly when he got it, but it's not more than 6 weeks old.

Of course you know that I'm going to challenge you here Bernd. You know
that New York mud is way stickier than the southern stuff. You're just
going to have to come up here and show us all how it's done <insert evil
grin here> And we'd like to meet you as well. I'm sure you and David need
to do a little competition in the mud. David's already taken the Adam
blaster on, I think it's your turn :-D Plus you've got a year advance
notice to prepare and driving to NY should be no big deal for someone from
Texas, right? ;-)

Have a great holiday!

TTYL,

Norah
