I had originally had almost the same problem with a set of "Generic" MSD
wires. The boots for the cap are just too thick and don't hold very well.
The solution for myself was replacing the boots with some that I had from an
old kit. I now have run SplitFire and Taylor "Vertex" wires and don't have
that problem anymore.

I need some assist. I ordered a set of 8.8mm accel spark plug wires for my
V6. Unfortunately, not only is it a tight fit on the distributer cap, the
wires tend to come loose very easily! The boots on the distributer cap end
also DO NOT cover the entire connector! Anyone else had this problem??
Unfortunately they are installed on my dak and I need a new set of wires
quick so I can return these! What wires do I get? I WOULD like to get these
wires in yellow - which I realize limits my options. Your help is needed and
appreciated.
