Mine is still ok...so far so good... However, I remember some time long ago
some friends had a car back in the 70s that had a center console
similar..without the CD storage of course, and the hinges broke on it. That
is what I'm worried about the most. Even when mine was new, it seemed a
little shaky. Oh well, maybe one of these days, I'll rip it out and built
one myself.
