I have a small one that has the capacities you mentioned; 8.6 cfm @ 40 psi,
6.8 cfm @ 90 psi and use it for general use including dual action sander,
air ratchet, air drill, spray paint, and die grinder. None of these tools
has in the least taxed the compressor's ability.
