Heather I have to commend you. Most people would not want to deal with a
sick animal. I'm that way with cats. They kinda seek me out or something.
One time I was out in the driveway working on the truck, and I hear a meow.
THinking it was one of our cats that snuck out until this cute orange tabby
was purring in my ear (was under the truck banging on another cat(the
metallic type)). Cute little guy, the GF wasn't too thrilled(especially with
3 cats and 1 dumb Golden Ret/Shepard mix) but we kept him around until we
found him a good home (BTW his name is Velcro). He stops by once in awhile
to say Hi......and munch on Lancelot and Tequila's food... :-)
