The following components are being added to make the Vipertruck live up to
it's name:
360 CI Magnum 1993 block (one of the good years)
JBA Silver Coated Headers, custom 2" Y-Pipe
CenterForce Clutch
Custom Intercooler (30"x18"x2")
Engine will get light head work & intake manifold, as well as a superbore 250
TB from Magnum Performance
Of course the supercharger will go on there as well as all the other go-fast
goodies I already have.
All this on the stock AX-15....we'll see how long it lasts. You guys all seem
to think it'll grenade, but if they can put a 460HP V8 on a 4 cylinder Fiero
5-spd, I think the AX-15 can handle the 360. Worst case scenario, it
explodes, and I end up changing it anyways.
Now when this is all completed (in a month or two) I'm going to have a few
items up for sale, and I'll bring it to you guys of course before I bring it
to EBAY.
92-93 V8 exhaust manifolds - These are the "big bore" models that are no
longer produced. Next best thing to headers, and nowhere near the $400-$500
price tag. $175
95 V6 JBA Headers - Picked them up in the November JBA group buy. Work great,
less than 10K on them. $150
95 V6 Engine - This is the old Vipertruck engine. 81k miles at this time,
probably 83K by the time I pull it. Not sure what accessories I'll be leaving
on the engine, depends on the swap. But I will include as much to the engine
as possible, including the harness. If one of you are looking to rebuild a V6
for a turbo or SC, here's a cheap test mule. $500
95 V6 Computer Custom Programmed by Superchips - This is what made the SC
possible. Custom fuel and timing curve for a supercharger. I paid $450 for
this program, willing to lose the computer and the custom chip for $300.
Please keep in mind however this will not work on 96-up Dakotas.
93 A-518 tranny - This is the tranny that came with the engine I bought. It's
an auto, that's why I won't use it. Anyone need one for a rebuild or just a
spare here ya go. $350.
I've also for other misc. parts, but they are all OEM stock. Ask me about
them in private email if you want.
