Well, I just got my Dak back with the new posi and 3:90 gears. What an
improvement! Off the line and highway performance has never been this
good. There 's minimal difference in rpm's at highway speeds so my gas
mileage shouldn't suffer.
The installer mentioned that the stock gears weren't lined up properly
and there was more than normal metal in the oil. I wonder if that helps
explain
how my Dak feels "smoother" now. Either that or it's the 85W140 w/additive
gear oil.
Can't wait for the track!!
