Kyle:

I did the same thing recently, had to call Summit to find out the diff
between the 0920 and the 0810. I got the 0920 with the 3.5" ID flange so it
would clamp on over a 3" PVC pipe, which has a 3.5" OD.

The OD of the air hat flange is 3-1/8". For the PVC-to-airhat fitting I got
a stainless clamp from a plumbing supply store. The clamp has a dual-size
rubber lining that is made to fit 3" PVC (3.5") on one side and 3" copper on
the other (3-1/8"). People seem to have had success with the all-rubber pipe
coupling you can get at Home Despot or wherever also. Both clamps are about
the same price, $7 or so.

The best picture I've seen of this setup is at:

Have fun! E-mail me with Q's!
