Re: Tire Sticker on Driver's Door, Attn: Everyone

Ok...I just checked my owners manual and it says to refer to the sticker on
the "rear face of the drivers door" which of course has no sticker, its on
the rear face of the drivers door jam. Guess they just figured that Joe
average would have no idea what a door jam is so they figured they would get
you in the area and you can figure it out for your self.
All the Nissans I ever owned had, in the owners manual all the tire and
wheel combinations available for that model year and the corresponding air
pressure, and I seem to remember older Chrysler's having the same thing
(although my memory is not what it used to be).
I worked for a Dodge/Chrysler Plymouth/Nissan dealer in a previous life and
I always set the tire pressure at 32-35psi Front, 24-35psi rear depending on
the "normal" load in the rear and most importantly on what the wear pattern
on the tires looked. That was based on achieving optimum tire wear as well
as traction. If you want fuel mpg then set the pressure higher. YMMV
