Sony came out with a Mavica (the model number escapes me right now) in
August that uses a 3" CD-R rather than a floppy. It's a little pricey
right now ($1300 retail, IIRC) but I expect the next generation, or the
one after that, will be my digicam purchase. Something like 156MB
storage, readable on any computer that has a CD drive, and cheap,
longlasting media (remember kiddies, floppies have a short shelf life).
