I really don't know about MB designing this engine.
If you take a look at Mercedes' engines, for a 4-litre engine, they usually
pump out over 300 hp.
All their engines have huge hp/litre ratings, so i would think our 4.7
wasn't designed by MB.
Then again, they may have designed it specifically for the North American
market in Chrysler products, and that may be why it only has 2
valves/cylinder and yadda yadda...
To me, it just doesn't sound like they would have designed this engine.
