Well, Having just come back from Michigan i too was curious about it all.
Did a little research and this is what i found:
Dry Pavement- Big no-no, especially when making any sort of turn.
Wet Pavement- Uhh... pushing it a little, not as bad though
Wet w/leaves - Getting better
Slush/snow - should be no danger
As for speed. Keep it slower than normal. No 75mph 4wd... 60 mph would be
my guess for top speed. Besides, if its not great conditions, why would you
want to be going much faster?...
