I get a little miffed when people are cutting down my equipment, and I guess I blew up at Steve yesterday. I aplologize.
Note: I'm not claiming that the Kenne Bell S/C is the best, just that it does make gobs of power on our 4.7's. There's a lot more to this kit then just the S/C. Look at the pictures on the web site and notice that the whole intake manifold has been replaced with a billet aluminum manifold. Also notice the two extra fuel injectors(50 lb) at the rear of the manifold. These injectors are triggered by K-B Optimizer computer under boost, giving the extra fuel needed for all that air. Look at all the testing and experimentation that Bernd had to go thru to get his kit to work better and that kit is a V6 spinoff of a V8 kit that's been available for some time.
Yes the K-B is expensive, but it delivers. (besides, I didn't pay full price. I was the prototype test mule.)
Does anyone have the Golden West kit installed yet? Let's here from them.
