Quick follow-up to my original message:
I guess I should've included this information in my original
message, a lot of folks have been replying to me asking ..
My truck's a '93, with approx 122k miles on the clock. Manual
tranny, 2WD, I haven't hauled anything [and really don't
plan to]. The owner's manual says I should have a shift light
on the humongous gas gauge [where the tach should be] but it
must be broken, as it never comes on.
Could the low gas mileage I'm getting be caused by the high
mileage of the engine? Could it be caused by something else?
I've got no trouble codes [at least none via the on-off-on-
off-on key trick].
