That 8 awg wire kit should be enough for that sized amp. Although you might
get a little more power out of it running 4 awg, I don't think the gains
will that significant.
The kit SHOULD come with RCA cables, a remote line wire, cable ties, fuse
holder. etc
If you're running power. I'd tap right into the fuse box behind the battery
run it back into the rubber boot for the brake, slit a hole in that. run a
cloths hanger thru first, then use the end of the hanger to pull or push the
wire thru.
If you want a little extra clarity and keep safe from engine electrical
noises, go to almost any electronics store and buy a ground loop isolator.
it'll take most of the alt whine, ground noises out. Almost eliminating it.
Where are you mounting the amp? If it looks like it won't get a good amount
of air flow or what not, go buy a small electrical fan so air will be pushed
thru the amp. You can also just play it first and just kinda feel the amp
from time to time to see if it's getting extremely hot. (Extremely hot
means, if you can't keep ur hand on it without having to remove ur hand from
the amp)
I'd just order it and tackle the install. ALSO.. if you dont' want to cut
ur factory harnesses, buy these speaker harness adaptors available at
circuit city. 5.99 and it plus into ur speaks and ur factory harness that
plugs into the factory speakers. EASY CLEAN connection.
