Hmmm - when I was looking up that info for the guy who requested a part number
for a 92-93 PCM (I sent it to the list but he asked again???), I saw an intake
for the 3.9L V6. It even said it was an M1 just like the MPI that everyone has
been installing the last few years on V8s. And NO I haven't been smoking crack
(typical punk reply).
Here's the whole skinny:
(NHRA Contingency Part) M1 V-6 4-BBL INTAKE MANIFOLD
Lightweight aluminum M1 single plane intake manifold accepts standard flange
Holley 390 CFM 4-BBL carburetor. Incorporates large runners for increased
flow. Heat crossovers allow dual purpose applications for operation in cold
weather. EGR ports cast into manifold. Fits 3.9L V-6 only.
P4452114 V-6 4-BBL Intake Manifold
If it were me - I'd pick this up, use the 2bbl to 4bbl adaptor like comes with
P5249816 (the MPI intake for V8s), and then line up and drill holes for mounting
the fuel injectors and rails...
Latr,
Shane
ps - ok I must really be bored 'cause I'm helping you V6 guys (beat me once and
I'll stop forever 8-O )
