A Caution About Trouble Code Numbering
Be aware that DTCs may be listed in different ways depending on what method
of retrieval was used or even what brand of scan tool was used. All DTCs are
listed in the manner that the OE manufacturer listed them using the OE scan
tool. Your DTC name/number might be different than what is listed, yet still
be valid.
EXAMPLE:
1998 Dodge Neon 2.0 Liter SOHC engine
OE Trouble Code Name 5 Volt Supply Output Too Low
MIL Code Number 71
Hex Code Number 92
