tire question

At 35k, my badyears are about shot - thus I am looking at new tires. I have
already decided to stay with the stock 31x10.50 size but I am considering more
aggressive tread. (those $%!!#$% stock RT/S tires get stuck on wet grass -
don't ask...) My question is this: Between the mid range mud tires (bfg mud,
General M/T, etc.) and the all-out mud tires (Super swampers, gumbo mudders,
etc.) what opinions do you have. Are the super swampers worth the inevitable
mileage hit? Are all of the radial mud terrain tires really created equal?
Has anybody started running the new SSR's? What about some of the more
aggressive looking all terrains like the BFG AT or grabber AP's? I am not
really looking for someone to tell me what's best, just opinions like " I
bought brand X tires, and I onlt got 5000 miles on them before they were used
up - or I have such and such, and I really like them..
