Well...

Even with a torque wrench things can go wrong. I started on the passenger
side front mount and that is about as far as I got.

The bolt backed out about 75% before the interior plate or whatever was
holding the nut in place let go. Now I can't tighten or loosen the mount
bolt (the nuts just spins in place). Apparently the AC kept dripping on the
mount nut/plate and it was rusted pretty bad by the time I decided to get in
and really muck things up.

Anyway I am sending it out to my mechanic, he has a two week waiting list
:-(. I figured he can deal with the headache of trying to make the nerf
bars hook up to the truck.

As an added bonus while I am waiting to clear the list I now get a very loud
"clunk" whenever I turn corners. I can only imagine what that is doing to
my alignment and tires.
