Ok,
Here is the thing. I am just researching this information right now. I
will not be getting my Dak until mid July. I am currently stationed in
Okinawa, Japan. (USMC) My family and I will be leaving this summer heading
for Pennsylvania. I will let everyone know what I do find out.
It might be late summer before I have any chance to try the conversion.
I was not really looking at it for a performance mod, more of a
economical/environmental mod.
Can any tell me what the average price is for LPG? I know that gas is
roughly $1.70 avg in the US right now.
One thing I did read about LPG is that it has an octane rating of
something like 110. I have read in a couple of posts on here about needing
higher octane for some of the Mods you guys have on your trucks. I am just
thinking that it might be possible to keep the same Mods and use LPG.
I dont recall seeing Bernd respond to this yet either. I know that
everyone tends to look to him for guidance, well except for tires now. :)
just kidding
Again, your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Lance
