Re: T-stat housing bolts torq spec?

What are the 2 nubs on the "ears" referred to here? I didn't think we had
them on the 318's. I heard mention before of grinding off 2 little "tits",
is this the same thing. Do these nubs on the ears affect the sealing
between the t-stat housing, gasket, and block?
