Hi, Shawn

I don't run a SC. I bought the computer from a DML member who
had a '97 SST SC/juiced Ram (program was first mistakenly put
on a Dak computer).

Main reasons for buying were that the price was right for a try and
it was thought that the computer was a '97 (turned out to be a '96
... '97 dash gauges will not function with '96 computer).
Also, some of the features were attractive; calibrated to idle at
1000 rpm for undersized pulleys, for 30# injectors and 60F tstat,
all delays removed, shift points/rev limiter/max. speed limit raised.

When I tested it with 24# injectors, the difference at part throttle
was so great that it was truly awesome (also only got about
90 miles on a half a tank of gas). Unfortunately, initiating WOT
from any rpm resulted in a tremendously rich bog.

I did test it at the track with the stock 19#s and it was there that
the scanner picked up the 17 degrees timing at WOT. At part throttle
the timing was about 4 degrees more than typically seen on a MP PCM
right across the rpm band.

Even if it had worked for my mods, the cat would not have lived too
long. I'm using it as a test mule and should know within a month if I'm
successful at dumping the code to a PC.

Bob
