You would be amazed at what kind of torque you can apply with a simple
socket wrench, let alone the tire iron. I torque my race car to 95ftlbs
and it really doesn't feel like a lot. I can easily exceed that with a
standard wrench. If you tighten them with the tire iron using the "crank
n' grunt" method, I guarantee you're getting well over 100.
