Trying for a DML record?

On the CRC, did you run a bottle through a full tank and then run it
through the tests on a new tank? Did you do the tests on less than
a full tank?

The only other thing that I can think of in this area would be the condition
of the gas cap or if it was tightly fastened.

I would if I were in your spot ... I'm right on the max. allowed in Ont.
myself.

If you can do it yourself, I would also do a compression test. With your
mileage, you may have excessive bypass at the rings. There is a product
that I have used in the past that worked quite well on one of my previous
high mileage vehicles which was burning some oil from excessive bypass.
I cannot think of the name right now but would be willing to go to the auto.
store to get the name if your test results indicate this type of problem.

Not likely since your other post says that it's running great.

Do you happen to know which part of the test gave you the high hc readings:
cold start idle? normal idle op. temp.? transition to or from the low load
test? one or more or all of the aforementioned?

What brand name of gasoline did you run? I recentlyt read that Texaco
(no longer available in Ont.) does the best job of reducing sulphur content
of the major brands.
